Homelessness is a problem that affects many people in America. Homelessness is the condition and societal category of people who lack fixed housing, usually because they cannot afford a regular, safe, and adequate shelter.  An individual is homeless when he or she has nowhere to live to meet basic needs.  Having a home is not just a simple question of having shelter, it's about the attributes that  make up a true home.  A home is a place where you are safe and secure, it's a place you can always go back to, a place where you can cook, wash and be yourself.  If you are homeless yourself and need help or if you want to learn more about homelessness and how you can help, we have information for you.  Please click on the link Additional Homeless Resources to access resources for homeless.
